Miami Airport Breaks Ground on Luxury PS Terminal

Miami International Airport (MIA) has officially broken ground on PS MIA, a new luxury terminal set to open in spring 2026. Operated by PS (formerly Private Suite), the terminal will offer an exclusive travel experience for premium passengers, blending high-end hospitality with streamlined airport processing.

Housed in a restored historic building that once served as the regional headquarters for Pan American Airways, PS MIA will include five private suites, two salon lounges with dining services, a central outdoor courtyard, and a full-service day spa offering massages and beauty treatments.

Access to the terminal will be limited to members who pay an annual fee, as well as non-members who can book on a wait-list basis for a one-time fee. The experience is designed to bypass the typical airport crowds and security lines. According to MIA, passengers will undergo on-site TSA screening before being driven across the airfield to board their flights directly from the tarmac via jet bridge stairs.

Arriving travelers will receive the same seamless service in reverse—from tarmac pick-up to private immigration processing and terminal exit.

PS already operates luxury terminals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and Miami marks its latest expansion into major U.S. travel hubs. The new facility is part of MIA’s strategy to elevate its premium offerings and cater to the growing demand for ultra-private, stress-free airport experiences.
