Michelin has unveiled its prestigious Key Awards for 2024, celebrating the finest hotels across the United States. This announcement marks the second year Michelin has recognized hotels in the U.S. with its exclusive Keys, following a comprehensive refresh of its global hotel selection. The Michelin Guide now features over 5,000 hotels worldwide, each assessed in five critical areas: architecture and design, service quality, overall character, value for money, and enhancement of the guest experience.

The 2024 Michelin Keys include a mix of new and returning luxury hotels that have set new standards in the hospitality industry. Notable new additions to the Three Key category are Canyon Ranch Tucson in Arizona, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in Florida, Kona Village in Hawaii, Sage Lodge in Montana, and Amangiri in Utah. These properties join an elite group of hotels such as The Beverly Hills Hotel in California and Aman New York, all of which have been recognized for their exceptional quality and service.

The Two Key category highlights hotels that offer remarkable value and an excellent guest experience. New entries this year include Stillpoint Lodge in Halibut Cove, The Hornibrook Mansion in Little Rock, and Ambiente in Sedona. Also featured are several luxury hotels in Boston, Charleston, and Miami, underscoring the diverse and high-quality offerings across the country.

Michelin’s rigorous evaluation process ensures that only the most outstanding hotels are awarded. Each property is scrutinized for its architectural and interior design, consistency in service, unique character, and the overall value it provides to guests. The Michelin Keys celebrate hotels that offer more than just a place to stay; they significantly enhance the travel experience through their exceptional offerings and distinctive qualities.

The announcement of the Michelin Keys also highlights top travel destinations and experiences for 2024. In the Caribbean, travelers can look forward to winter cruises from Miami and San Juan to picturesque locations such as the Virgin Islands and the private Beach Club at Bimini. Mediterranean and European summer sailings will explore Italy, the Greek Isles, Turkey, Morocco, and Scandinavia, offering a range of luxurious and scenic options.

North American travelers can anticipate unique voyages on the Brilliant Lady, which will embark on a groundbreaking “road trip” across the continent. Additionally, there will be extended transatlantic journeys and one-way cruises connecting Spain, the UK, and Iceland, providing travelers with diverse and exciting travel experiences.

Michelin’s selection of hotels also includes a range of all-inclusive luxuries, with over $1,000 in added value. Guests at these top-rated hotels can enjoy amenities such as WiFi, dining, tips and gratuities, fitness classes, and entertainment, ensuring a truly memorable stay.

Overall, the Michelin Key Awards for 2024 highlight the best in luxury and service, offering travelers a curated list of exceptional hotels across the United States and beyond.
