Michigan’s Vision Air rebrands as FLYBY Air
Vision Air, a business charter airline and a fixed base operator in Michigan, has rebranded as FLYBY Air due to a copyright dispute. “Last year, we were excited to announce our new name, Vision Air Center… Unfortunately, we learned that the word “vision” could be trademarked and that the trademark holder is a customer we do a lot of business with. So to honour them and maintain an excellent business relationship, we agreed to rebrand again,” Chief Executive Terry Boer said in a message posted on the firm’s website. FLYBY Air evolved from the merger of Executive Air, ASI Charter (Jeffersonville), and Tulip City Air. It operates fixed bases at West Michigan Regional Airport, Muskegon, and Traverse City. It proffers both business charter services and aircraft maintenance services.
