Milan Airports Witness Strong Summer Traffic
It looks like it will be a busy summer for Milan Airports
This summer Milan Airports will bring passengers to 171 destinations, including 60 unique ones. Milan differentiates between the intercontinental airport of Milano Malpensa (MXP) and the city airport of Linate (LIN), hosting 76 airlines and serving 75 countries through 368 daily frequencies. This translates to an addition of +7 airlines flying to +4 new and previously unserved countries and +12 newly added destinations.
We are expected to receive 4.3 million passengers incoming and forecast 3.9 million travellers departing, resulting respectively in a +34% and a + 15% increment compared to summer 2022.
Our new destinations portfolio includes:
Birmingham, Lourdes, Tampere, Bergen, Helsinki, Bacau, La Coruña, Nice, Trapani, Figari, Calvi, Foggia in Europe
Hong Kong, Taipei, Wenzhou, Shanghai, and Delhi in Asia
Giza and Mauritius in Africa
Additionally, we also increased our frequencies to Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia as follows:
Europe: Athens, Madrid, Paris, Belgrad, Copenhagen, Reykjavik
North America: New York, Newark, and seasonality extension to Atlanta, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto
Middle East: Doha, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Amman, Bahrein, Kuwait City
Asia: Seoul, Bejing, Hong Kong, Taipei
