Military families’ retreat aided by Choice philanthropy

A respite home in Port Angeles, Wash., for families who have lost loved ones in connection with military service is $5,000 stronger thanks to the efforts of an area hotel manager. Yolanda Pompa of the Quality Inn and Suites in Sequim was one of 10 grant recipients in Choice Hotels International’s “Your Community, Your Choice” competition.
