A complex including a hotel, 2,290 housing units, 510,000 square feet of office space and a 22.5-acre park will be built on the site of a 74-year-old natural gas plant in Rodondo Beach, Calif., that’s set to be closed and be razed this year. Next Century Power, a partner in Los Angeles-based SLH Investment, bought the 49-acre property from AES Corp. in 2018.
