In a strategic move to broaden its reach within the travel technology sector, Mize has announced the acquisition of RightRez, a renowned specialist in air travel technology. The details of the transaction were not disclosed, but the acquisition marks a significant step for Mize as it aims to enhance its offerings and establish itself as a leader in multi-vertical fintech solutions.

Founded in 2016, Mize has rapidly ascended in the travel tech industry, being recognized as a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup in 2020. This acquisition is poised to merge Mize’s robust AI and data analytics capabilities with the extensive air travel technology expertise of RightRez, promising to unlock new avenues for growth and innovation.

Dor Krubiner, co-founder and CEO of Mize, expressed enthusiasm about the integration, stating, “RightRez brings over 20 years of unparalleled experience in the air travel space, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the Mize family. This acquisition aligns with our vision to become a leading multi-vertical fintech provider, offering customers cutting-edge solutions that address their most pressing challenges in both the accommodation and air travel markets.”

Maria von Foerster, CEO of RightRez, also commented on the merger’s potential, “Joining forces with Mize opens new doors for innovation and growth. Together, we’ll deliver unmatched solutions to help our customers thrive in an ever-evolving travel industry.”

Mize, which was formerly known as Hotelmize and is based in Israel, secured $12 million in Series B funding in early 2023, further fueling its expansion and innovation capabilities within the global travel technology landscape.
