This summer, MSC Cruises is set to enhance its family and kids’ programming across its fleet, introducing an array of new activities and extended services designed to enrich the cruising experience for families. With an emphasis on inclusivity and fun, MSC Cruises is broadening its offerings to cater to all ages, from infants to teenagers.

One significant upgrade is the expansion of services for families with infants. In a new collaboration with Chicco, MSC Cruises will now provide dedicated baby care for infants aged six months and older, a drop from the previous one-year minimum age requirement. This service aims to give parents more flexibility and peace of mind during their vacation.

For families looking to engage together, MSC Cruises is enhancing its Doremiland kids club by introducing specific hours when parents can join their children in the club. Additionally, a special party for parents and their children will be organized once per cruise, fostering memorable family bonding moments.

The entertainment options are also getting a boost with the introduction of two new family-oriented games. “World Quest,” a geography-based trivia game, and “Caravaggio,” an art-themed spy game show, are set to provide educational fun for the whole family. These join existing favorites like MasterChef at Sea Juniors and Break the Wall, maintaining MSC’s reputation for innovative family fun.

Teenagers are not left out, as MSC Cruises extends the operating hours of the Teens Club. Now, teens aged 12-17 will have more time to socialize and enjoy activities tailored to their interests, with new extended hours on sea days and port days.

The cruise line is also broadening its educational offerings by expanding the Guinness World Record activities to nine ships, including notable vessels like MSC World Europa and MSC Seashore. Furthermore, families interested in environmental conservation can participate in MSC Foundation activities, which provide daily sessions aimed at educating young cruisers about marine conservation.

Steve Leatham, MSC’s Global Head of Entertainment, highlighted the company’s commitment to family-oriented experiences. “At the heart of our business is family. We aim to create unforgettable memories and holidays for everyone, especially families,” he stated, emphasizing the role of MSC’s dedicated youth team in crafting these unique experiences.

Overall, MSC Cruises is set to offer a robust range of programs for children of all ages this summer, from the Baby Club Chicco for infants to the Teens Club for older youths, ensuring that every family member has an opportunity to enjoy tailored, fun, and engaging activities throughout their cruise.
