MSC Cruises Introduces The Harbour, a New Family-Oriented Outdoor Venue on MSC World America

MSC Cruises has unveiled exciting details about The Harbour, a new family-friendly outdoor venue set to debut on its upcoming vessel, MSC World America. This innovative space is designed to cater to families, making it the first of its kind within the MSC fleet. Scheduled to launch from Miami in April 2025, The Harbour will be a highlight of the ship’s Family Adventure district, one of seven unique zones onboard.

The Harbour is strategically positioned on the open-top deck and will boast an array of attractions tailored for family fun and relaxation. Highlights include a water park named The Harbour Aquapark, which features thrilling slides such as one with a 90-degree vertical drop and another incorporating virtual reality technology. Dueling body slides and an 11-story dry slide, known as Jaw Drop @ The Spiral, promise exhilarating experiences as they whisk guests through alternating light and dark segments of the World Promenade.

Additional features that enhance the adventurous spirit of The Harbour include a themed playground inspired by the iconic lighthouse at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s private island. A rock climbing wall, high ropes course with two “Sky Rails” akin to zip lines, and the Cliffhanger—a swing ride extending over the water—will offer more adrenaline-pumping activities. Comfortable seating areas, grab-and-go food options, and live musical performances will ensure that family time is both exciting and relaxing.

Aside from The Harbour, MSC World America is set to offer the largest Doremiland—the dedicated kids’ area in the MSC Cruises fleet. The ship will also introduce new Lego-themed attractions, including a master builder area, a Lego game show, and the first-ever Lego parade at sea, providing unique experiences for Lego enthusiasts and young guests.

With a capacity to host 6,762 guests, MSC World America is poised to become a leading choice for family vacations at sea, combining innovation, adventure, and comfort in one floating paradise.
