MSC Cruises, known for its luxurious global cruise offerings, is accelerating its partnership with the world of Formula 1 racing. The cruise line has announced that it will be the title sponsor for two significant Formula 1 world championship races in 2024: the Japanese Grand Prix and the Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna.

Already established as a global sponsor of Formula 1 through the end of the 2026 season, MSC Cruises has been a visible presence on the race tracks with its branding. The new agreement takes this partnership a notch higher, with MSC Cruises’ name being prominently featured in the titles of these two prestigious championships.

The Formula 1 MSC Cruises Japanese Grand Prix 2024 is set to take place from April 5-7 at the renowned Suzuka circuit in Japan, marking the fourth race of the season. Following this, the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna is scheduled for May 17-19 in Imola, Italy, adding to the excitement of the racing calendar.

This expansion of the relationship between MSC Cruises and Formula 1 comes at a time when both the cruising and Formula 1 sectors are witnessing a surge in popularity. The partnership is rooted in shared values centered on sustainable development and innovation, aiming to shape the future of their respective industries and create a lasting impact for future generations.

In addition to these title sponsorships, MSC Cruises has also integrated Formula 1 experiences into its cruise offerings. Earlier this year, the company announced that guests aboard MSC Virtuosa would have the opportunity to attend the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November. Furthermore, MSC Cruises was the title sponsor for the 2023 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix, underscoring its commitment to this high-octane sport.

The announcement reflects MSC Cruises’ strategic approach to align with globally recognized events like Formula 1, enhancing its brand visibility while offering unique experiences to its guests and racing fans worldwide.
