This summer, MSC Cruises is set to captivate travelers with an impressive lineup of nine ships cruising the picturesque Mediterranean. With sailings available from now through October, there is still ample opportunity for vacationers to book their dream Mediterranean escape.

Travelers can choose from a variety of 7- to 11-night cruises, visiting some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after destinations including Valencia and Barcelona in Spain; Livorno, Naples, and Palermo in Italy; the glamorous Cannes in France; the vibrant Ibiza in Spain; and the historic Cádiz in Spain.

The fleet gracing the Mediterranean waters includes the MSC Fantasia, MSC Seaside, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Seaview, MSC World Europa, MSC Musica, MSC Poesia, MSC Orchestra, MSC Divina, and once again, MSC Seaview, offering a range of experiences from luxurious amenities to family-friendly activities.

In addition to announcing its summer sailing schedule, MSC Cruises has also highlighted a new, meaningful partnership through its MSC Foundation. The foundation has teamed up with Mission Blue, a marine conservation organization led by renowned marine biologist Sylvia Earle. This collaboration aims to enhance ocean literacy and promote marine conservation among MSC Cruises’ guests.

As part of this initiative, the MSC Foundation and Mission Blue plan to implement an educational program aimed at informing 4 million MSC guests about marine ecosystems. Additionally, they are launching a restoration project to plant up to 37,000 seagrass plants around Formentera, Spain. This effort is intended to help restore ecological balance and support marine life, countering the impacts of human activity and climate change.

Daniela Picco, the executive director of the MSC Foundation, emphasized the significance of this partnership: “We aim to boost ongoing efforts to replenish seagrass meadows to mitigate the effects of human activity and climate change, restoring ecological balance and supporting marine life.”

This summer, MSC Cruises not only offers a gateway to explore the enchanting Mediterranean but also an opportunity to engage with and contribute to important environmental efforts, making every voyage both memorable and impactful.
