MSC Cruises has announced a major transformation for MSC Poesia, with the ship set to debut significant upgrades ahead of its first Alaska season in May 2026. The enhancements include the introduction of the MSC Yacht Club, expanded dining options, and upgraded wellness facilities.

The MSC Yacht Club, MSC Cruises’ signature luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, will be added to Poesia for the first time. The exclusive area will feature 63 suites across five categories, a private restaurant and lounge, a sundeck with whirlpools, and 24-hour butler service, creating a more personalized, high-end experience for guests.

Dining upgrades will bring the addition of two specialty restaurants: Butcher’s Cut, an American-style steakhouse, and a redesigned Kaito Sushi Bar. A new All-Stars Sports Bar will also open, providing an updated venue for casual dining and entertainment. Beyond dining, guests can look forward to a refreshed MSC Aurea Spa and an improved fitness center designed to elevate the onboard wellness offering.

Following its Alaska season, which includes calls to Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, Juneau, and Victoria, MSC Poesia will reposition for the winter 2026-27 season in the Caribbean and Central America. Highlights will include itineraries featuring a Panama Canal Grand Voyage, offering travelers a chance to explore both tropical and cultural destinations in one journey.

With these upgrades, MSC Poesia will deliver a mix of modern luxury and enhanced amenities, expanding the cruise line’s appeal to both first-time and returning guests.
