MSC Cruises has unveiled exciting new details about MSC World Asia, the line’s next-generation flagship and the third vessel in its World Class series. The ship is scheduled to set sail on December 11, 2025, offering winter 2026/27 and summer 2027 itineraries across the Mediterranean.

Designed to push boundaries in innovation, entertainment, and global cuisine, MSC World Asia will feature seven distinct onboard districts, each offering a unique ambiance, range of activities, and themed experiences. This immersive design concept aims to enhance the passenger journey, giving guests more personalized and diversified spaces throughout the ship.

MSC World Asia’s seven-night Mediterranean cruises will visit some of the region’s most iconic ports. The winter itinerary includes Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome (Italy), and Valletta (Malta). In summer, Genoa and Naples will be added to the schedule, giving travelers even more access to southern Europe’s cultural and coastal highlights.

Among the ship’s standout features is the all-new World Promenade, a vibrant social hub that blends fresh concepts with returning favorites. Notable new attractions include:

A Pan-Asian Specialty Restaurant, yet to be named, that will spotlight dishes from Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, and South China, delivering an authentic Southeast Asian culinary experience.

The Tree of Life Spiral Dry Slide, which will become the longest dry slide at sea, giving guests a thrilling way to travel across 12 decks in just seconds.

Sweet Temptations, a dessert-lovers paradise offering gelato, crepes, cakes, frozen yogurt, and signature shakes.

Promenade Bites, a casual grab-and-go concept featuring freshly prepared street-style snacks.

All-Star Sports Bar, outfitted with big screens, interactive games, and a sea-facing outdoor terrace for the ultimate sports and social experience.

The Coffee Emporium, a haven for coffee connoisseurs showcasing international blends and brewing methods.

A Luxury Accessories Boutique offering upscale fashion and statement pieces from renowned global brands.

Guests aboard MSC World Asia will also enjoy over 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants, ensuring no shortage of culinary and entertainment variety. Families will appreciate The Harbour, a revolutionary outdoor park located in the Family Aventura District, as well as Cliffhanger, an overwater swing that propels guests 50 meters above the sea for unmatched ocean views and thrills.

Accommodation options are equally diverse, with over 20 cabin types available. These range from luxury suites and balcony cabins with ocean or promenade views to interconnecting rooms perfect for families or groups traveling together.
