National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has unveiled details of its first 2027-28 cruise program, offering travelers immersive journeys across all seven continents with guidance from veteran expedition leaders, naturalists, historians, scientists, and National Geographic experts.

“Our 2027-28 deployment reflects everything our guests value about traveling with us: extraordinary access, thoughtful pacing, and deep respect for the environments and cultures we visit,” said Trey Byus, chief expedition officer at Lindblad Expeditions. “These itineraries are designed not only to inspire awe, but also to support conservation and communities, creating travel that is a force for good.”

The upcoming season includes a return to Oceania for the first time in two years, highlighted by National Geographic Resolution’s relaunch of itineraries such as the 11-day “Pearls of the Pacific: The Society and Tuamotu Islands.” The brand will also revisit Easter Island after a four-year hiatus with the 18-day “Easter Island to Tahiti: Tales of the Pacific” voyage.

In Alaska, guests can look forward to additional departures of signature routes including the 8-day “Alaska’s Inside Passage,” the 11-day “Voyage to the Great Bear Rainforest,” and the 14- and 15-day “Treasures of the Inside Passage” aboard National Geographic Quest and National Geographic Venture.

Japan will feature prominently with new departures of the 16-day “Coastal Japan: Imperial Dynasties and Modern Culture” voyage. European and Mediterranean itineraries include the “Islands of the Azores” and “Ancient Mediterranean: Exploring Greece, Croatia and Albania.”

In the Galápagos, guests will sail on four purpose-built vessels, including the newly acquired 16-guest National Geographic Delfina and 48-guest National Geographic Gemini, alongside National Geographic Endeavour II and the luxury National Geographic Islander II.
