New EU laws target aviation supply chain cybersecurity

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s new cybersecurity regulations will require aviation suppliers such as plane-makers, airlines and flight schools to identify cyberrisks and protect themselves against cyberattacks. Some see the requirements, to come into effect in 2025, as particularly daunting, given the cost of setting up tracking systems and finding cybersecurity staff who understand aviation systems.
