Charlotte, N.C.-based culinary team of Subrina and Greg Collier — selected as 2020’s James Beard Foundation Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership fellow and two-time James Beard Award semifinalist respectively — will be hosting the inaugural BayHaven Food and Wine Festival in October, an event being branded as a celebration of Black culinary artists that aims to give the restaurant industry the inclusive reset it needs. “We need to see more representation in everything, and that includes restaurant groups,” said Subrina.
