New Luxuries Redefine Palm Beach Resorts
Palm Beach, South Florida’s renowned resort enclave, is welcoming an exciting new chapter in luxury accommodations. This year, travelers can choose from three newly introduced or updated resorts: Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa, Palm House, and The Vineta Hotel—each offering distinct experiences and redefining the island’s exclusive hospitality landscape.
Palm House: A Boutique Gem with Nautical Glam
Making its debut in November 2024, Palm House is a 79-room luxury boutique property and marks the first new hotel on the island in four years. Located just steps from the beach and nestled between Worth Ave and Royal Poinciana Plaza, this project is the first U.S. property of London-based L+R Hotels Iconic Luxury Hotels division. General Manager Natalie Le Clerc explains, “Palm House represents an evolution in Palm Beach, raising the bar on luxury while maintaining a playful edge. We look forward to graciously welcoming guests and locals for generations to come.”
The property’s interior exudes a chic coastal vibe, fusing playful Palm Beach charm with nautical glamor. Guests are greeted by a grand porte cochere and an open courtyard that leads into the Palm Bar, a striking space featuring a pink marble countertop, a seashell installation wall, and Murano glass chandeliers hanging from a vaulted ceiling. The Palm House Dining Room continues the coastal decor with teal seating, coral accent pillows, and gold fixtures, while offering a unique Japanese Peruvian menu alongside all-day dining options.
Accommodations at Palm House are designed for maximalist luxury, with 58 elegant guestrooms and 21 spacious suites averaging around 550 square feet. Among the highlights is a two-story one-bedroom Presidential suite with 1.5 bathrooms, two balconies overlooking the pool, and personalized butler service, offering an unrivaled stay in Palm Beach.
The Vineta Hotel: A Fresh Take on Classic Elegance
Set to open in spring 2025, The Vineta Hotel is a 41-room luxury property located just two blocks from Worth Ave. This will be the first U.S. venture of the esteemed Oetker Collection, known for landmarks like Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Eden Rock – St. Barths. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Coco’s, features a menu curated by the Executive chef and pastry chef from Hotel Cap-Eden-Roc, promising an unforgettable dining experience.
The property, housed in a nearly 100-year-old building, reclaims its historic name after its previous iterations as a residential property and later as The Chesterfield Palm Beach hotel. Maintaining its original essence—with a pale pink facade and Mediterranean Revival architecture that harkens back to Palm Beach’s 1920s heyday—the building now offers more spacious suites after reducing the total room count from 53 to 41. Guests will appreciate the contemporary interiors, soft pink walls, and stylish modern furnishings, along with relaxing poolside experiences accentuated by pink loungers and umbrellas.
Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa: Contemporary Elegance
Recently refreshed with a $25 million renovation, Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa now presents a bright and airy new design. Formerly the Omphoy Ocean Resort, its glass-fronted, contemporary architecture offers a sleek departure from the traditional Mediterranean buildings of Palm Beach. Owner and Developer Jeff Greene remarks, “The refurbishment of Tideline has touched all areas of the resort, from our pool entrance and grand lobby to our coveted beachfront. We have tailored every touch point to deliver a sophisticated travel experience unique to Tideline.”
Tideline now features 134 updated rooms and suites, enhanced with new flooring, marble countertops, and plush Fili D’Oro linens. With standard king bedrooms starting at 330 square feet and generous suites reaching up to 775 square feet, the property blends comfort and style seamlessly. Dining at Tideline is elevated by two distinct venues: Brandon’s, an oceanfront restaurant serving coastal cuisine, and Mizu, a minimalist sushi bar. Additionally, the resort’s expansive 6,000-square-foot spa offers a range of treatments designed to rejuvenate and pamper every guest.
A New Era of Palm Beach Luxury
With these three dynamic resorts, Palm Beach is poised to continue its reputation as a top-tier destination for luxury travel. Whether you’re seeking a boutique experience at Palm House, the historic elegance of The Vineta Hotel, or the modern sophistication of Tideline, these properties promise to enhance the Palm Beach experience and set a new benchmark for exclusive accommodations in South Florida.
