New name, perhaps new building in cards for Tropicana

The Tropicana is in for a name change and very possibly demolition by the company that’s buying the historic and once-notorious resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Renewal of the 1,470-room Rat Pack-era landmark could extend to “knocking it down and starting over,” says Soohyung Kim, chairman of Bally’s Corp.
