New Norway-based airline Norse Atlantic will start flying 787s in spring 2022

Norse Atlantic Airways, a new Norway-based airline, has received an air operator’s certificate (AOC) from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority.

The airline, which was founded in March 2021 by former Norwegian Air executives, is set to operate its first transatlantic flights in spring 2022. Norse Atlantic Airways raised $165mn in IPO and targets low-cost long-haul market. The initial flights will depart from Oslo to select places in the US.
