Aeromexico Expands U.S. Presence with New Cancun-Miami Route

Aeromexico is set to enhance its connectivity between Mexico and the United States by introducing a new daily flight service between Cancun and Miami, effective December 19, 2024. This route will be serviced by Boeing 737-8 aircraft, reflecting the airline’s commitment to expanding its North American network. Currently, Aeromexico operates three daily flights from Mexico City Juarez International Airport (MEX) to Miami, as well as flights to Orlando and Tampa, Florida. The Miami service will boost the airline’s offerings and convenience for travelers between these key destinations.

Starlux Airlines Launches New Taichung-Okinawa Route

Taiwanese airline Starlux is expanding its international reach with a new route connecting Taichung and Okinawa. Starting December 2, 2024, Starlux will operate flights four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This move highlights Starlux’s strategy to increase its presence in the Japanese market and provide more travel options for passengers in Taiwan.

Air Astana Introduces Nonstop Flights to Phuket

Air Astana is expanding its flight network with new nonstop service from Astana, Kazakhstan, to Phuket, Thailand, starting October 26, 2024. The airline will operate this route three times a week using Airbus A321LR aircraft. This new service complements Air Astana’s existing flights from Almaty to Phuket, which will increase to daily operations on the same date. The outbound flight to Phuket will take approximately 8 hours and 5 minutes, while the return flight will be around 8 hours and 40 minutes.

Delta Air Lines to Launch New Austin-New Orleans Route

Delta Air Lines is introducing a new route connecting Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas with Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Beginning February 27, 2025, Delta will offer two daily flights on this route, operated by Skywest Airlines with Embraer E175 aircraft. This new service will provide travelers with more options between these vibrant cities. Southwest Airlines also serves this route, providing additional flight choices for passengers.

JetBlue Enhances Ski Season Travel with Mint Service

JetBlue Airways is upgrading its service to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport by adding its premium Mint service during the peak ski season. From February 13 through March 30, 2025, Mint service will be available on three weekly flights from both Boston Logan and New York John F. Kennedy airports. This addition aims to offer travelers a more comfortable and luxurious flying experience as they head to one of the top ski destinations in the U.S.

EasyJet Introduces New Lyon-Budapest Route

EasyJet is expanding its European network with a new route between Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport in France and Budapest, Hungary. Starting this week, EasyJet will operate this service twice a week using a combination of Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. This new route will enhance connectivity between these two major cities and provide travelers with more options for traveling within Europe.
