As the travel industry continues to evolve, a new trend is emerging: niche all-business class carriers that cater to the discerning needs of passengers seeking heightened comfort, convenience, and exclusivity. These airlines are on a mission to fill a gap in the market and provide travelers with unique and exceptional travel experiences, even in the face of challenges brought about by the post-pandemic world.

La Compagnie, BeOnd, and Bermudair are three notable players in this all-business class market, each with their own plans for expansion and new destinations. These carriers have recognized the demand for premium services and are dedicated to offering unparalleled experiences to their passengers.

La Compagnie
La Compagnie, an established operator, currently operates A321-200NX(LR) aircraft on scheduled flights to Newark from Paris, Milan Malpensa, and Nice. However, the airline intends to expand its fleet by adding two more aircraft by 2026. This expansion will enable La Compagnie to introduce flights to destinations like Beijing, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo, and South America.

La Compagnie offers a premium travel experience with its fleet of new Airbus A321neo aircraft. These state-of-the-art planes feature 76 full flat seats, providing ultimate comfort during your journey. Passengers can enjoy complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi onboard, staying connected throughout the flight. Additionally, La Compagnie takes pride in its commitment to environmental sustainability, as the A321neo consumes 30% less fuel compared to its previous aircraft models.

With attractive fares starting from $2,400 round-trip for routes like New York to Milan, La Compagnie provides excellent value for travelers seeking a luxurious flying experience. The airline also offers flexible booking options, allowing passengers to change or cancel their flights without incurring additional fees.

Bermudair
Bermudair is in the process of obtaining a Bermudan air operator’s certificate (AOC) and plans to commence operations with two Embraer ERJ 170-100STD aircraft featuring 30 seats. The airline aims to target US east coast-based bankers with business in Bermuda. Initial flights are planned to Boston, White Plains, and Fort Lauderdale International.

With a focus on luxury and comfort, Bermudair plans to operate two leased Embraer E175 aircraft, each equipped with 30 premium seats. These aircraft were previously utilized by Flybe, a UK regional carrier that ceased operations in 2023. By leveraging these modern aircraft, Bermudair aims to provide an exceptional travel experience for passengers.

BeOnd
BeOnd, based in the Maldives, is working towards certification by mid-year, with a target launch date in October. The airline plans to start with leased Airbus narrowbodies, accommodating 68 passengers. The initial destinations are likely to include Delhi International and Dubai International, along with a few other locations in the Middle East and Asia. BeOnd’s strategy is to provide nonstop premium cabin flights to the Maldives, offering an attractive alternative to traditional airlines that often require transit stops.

BeOnd is a new and exclusive luxury airline startup based in the breathtaking Maldives. With a vision to redefine premium travel, BeOnd plans to offer all-premium flights connecting the Maldives to over 60 exquisite destinations worldwide, spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Scheduled for an anticipated launch in mid to late 2023, BeOnd aims to set new standards of luxury and comfort in air travel. The airline will operate state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft, featuring 68 fully flat business class seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration. This design ensures maximum privacy and space for discerning travelers seeking an exceptional onboard experience.

While some adjustments to their plans and timelines may occur, these carriers are eager to expand their services and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

Niche carriers differentiate themselves by offering specialized services that cater to the specific needs and preferences of their target audience. These airlines recognize the growing demand for elevated travel experiences and aim to deliver exceptional services, tailored amenities, and personalized attention.
