Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Paramount, has announced a series of exciting renovations and new openings at the award-winning Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, located in the Dominican Republic. This extensive transformation is set to redefine the family vacation experience with new culinary delights, updated resort features, and an expanded Aqua Nick waterpark.

The renovation leads with the Snick Lounge, a sophisticated and 90s-themed venue replacing the former Vino Vino restaurant. This dynamic space will feature an arcade game room, a sports lounge, and a live music venue, all infused with design elements from Nickelodeon’s 90s era hits. The Snick Lounge promises a blend of nostalgic memories and contemporary entertainment, complete with the iconic Big Orange Couch.
Delicious Developments
The resort introduces The Sweetery in the former Doppio space, creating a paradise for coffee aficionados and ice cream lovers. This new spot will feature a unique photo opportunity with Nickelodeon’s beloved grumpy cat, Garfield. The Sweetery will offer a range of coffee selections, soft-serve ice cream, popsicles, various toppings, and cones, along with savory deli options and cold cuts.
Resort Enhancements
Further enhancements in 2024 include in-room art updates and immersive character-themed culinary experiences. The renowned Aqua Nick waterpark will boast a new main entry, additional pools with a slide tower, upgraded restrooms, splash games, and sunbeds with large umbrellas. The resort will also enhance its live entertainment, including more Slime events and interactions with favorite Nickelodeon characters.
