Norse Atlantic Airways has announced two new routes between Paris and Berlin and Miami

Norse Atlantic Airways, the long-haul low-cost airline based in Norway, has announced that new flights will connect Paris, France, and Berlin, Germany, with Miami, the United States (US) as of December 2023.

The airline will operate four weekly flights from Paris Charles De Gaulle International Airport (CDG) to Miami International Airport (MIA) from December 11, 2023, with prices starting at €219 ($241.45) one way including taxes. The low-cost carrier will also fly once a week from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to MIA from December 15, 2023, with flights starting at €239 ($263.50) for a one-way fare including taxes.

According to Norse Atlantic Airways, the move strengthens “its position as a leading carrier for European passengers seeking affordable winter sun destinations”. As a city destination, Miami offers the old continent’s inhabitants “unparalleled winter sun”, as well as “vibrant cultural experiences, beautiful beaches, and a pleasant climate”.

“Miami has long been recognized as a sought-after winter sun location and we are delighted to connect even more European cities to this vibrant destination,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Norse Atlantic Airways. Larsen mentioned the airline already serves MIA from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) and Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL), and as such, “more travellers will now be able to experience these amazing destinations on both sides of the Atlantic”.

As a Boeing 787-only operator, the airline offers low-cost fares across the Atlantic, as well as flights from LGW and OSL to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Its aircraft are based at LGW, CDG, BER, OSL, and Rome–Fiumicino International Airport (FCO).

Norse Atlantic Airways was established in 2021, shortly after Norwegian Air Shuttle, or Norwegian, exited the long-haul low-cost market and focused on short-haul routes within Europe instead. Norse Atlantic Airways’ Boeing 787s were all previously operated by Norwegian, according to ch-aviation.com data.

Norse Atlantic Airways began flying in June 2022.
