Norse Atlantic Airways achieved a record-high load factor of 94% in December 2024, a significant increase from 71% in the same month last year. The airline operated 434 flights, transporting 124,450 passengers across its network and ACMI/charter operations—a 57% year-over-year increase in passenger numbers.

Despite operational challenges, including air traffic control (ATC) and air traffic flow management (ATFM) restrictions, as well as airport-related issues during the peak travel season, Norse Atlantic maintained a 100% flight completion rate. However, punctuality was impacted, with 53% of flights departing within 15 minutes of schedule and 33% arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled times.

The airline’s ACMI/charter services experienced remarkable growth, with 158 flights operated in December 2024 compared to just 22 flights in December 2023. This expansion highlights the company’s increasing foothold in the charter market.

Norse Atlantic’s strong performance underscores its successful strategy to optimize capacity and cater to growing passenger demand, solidifying its position as a key player in the transatlantic aviation market.
