Northern Pacific Airways, America’s newest carrier, is set to embark on its inaugural commercial flight on July 14, 2023, offering travelers a convenient route from Ontario, US to the vibrant city of Las Vegas.

The dedicated team at Northern Pacific Airways is currently conducting multiple proving runs, with FAA representatives on board to meticulously assess and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance. Since June 26, 2023, the airline’s reliable Boeing 757-200 aircraft has successfully completed seven flights, serving routes from Grant County International (MWH), Ontario Airport (ONT), and the carrier’s Anchorage Airport (ANC) base.

The excitement surrounding the launch was palpable as Northern Pacific Airways proudly showcased their newly designed jet, featuring a distinct livery created by Edmond Huot of Forward Studio in New York City. This distinctive livery adds a touch of uniqueness to the airline’s branding and enhances its visual appeal.

As part of the rigorous FAA Certification Process, Northern Pacific Airways has already undergone an evacuation test, marking a significant milestone in their journey to becoming a certified Part 121 carrier. This test ensures that the airline’s procedures and protocols meet the highest standards for passenger safety and emergency preparedness.

Following the completion of proving flights, FAA team members will meticulously assess the data collected during these activities using specialized tools, contributing to the thorough evaluation of the airline’s overall performance. This evaluation process is crucial in ensuring that Northern Pacific Airways meets all the necessary criteria and standards set by the FAA.

With Phase 4 successfully concluded, Northern Pacific Airways will move on to Phase 5, which involves administrative functions and obtaining the necessary license once the Certification Project Manager (CPM) and Certification Project Team (CPT) are satisfied with the airline’s compliance with US regulations. This final phase brings the airline closer to officially becoming a certified Part 121 carrier and solidifies its position as a reliable and compliant operator.

Northern Pacific Airways is the creation of regional airline Ravn Alaska, and it purchased its first jet, the Boeing 757-200, on September 30, 2021. This strategic acquisition demonstrates the airline’s commitment to providing exceptional service and enhancing air travel options for passengers.

As the launch date approaches, Northern Pacific Airways is poised to make its mark in the industry, offering travelers a new and exciting option for their journeys. The airline’s dedication to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction sets the stage for a successful future in the competitive aviation landscape.
