Sundt Air (MDT, Oslo Gardermoen) took delivery of its first Cessna (single turboprop) C208EX Grand Caravan amphibian earlier this month, AIN Online has reported. The aircraft was delivered new direct from manufacturer Textron Aviation (Wichita Cessna Aircraft Field). The Norwegian charter and air services specialist will redeliver it to a private customer in Norway. Sundt Air itself operates a fleet comprising a Bombardier Challenger 604, a Challenger 350, a Cessna 680, a Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350ER, and a King Air 200. The last two aircraft are used for maritime surveillance by the Norwegian Coast Guard (Kystvakten). Besides Sundt Air, parent holding Sundt Group also owns an aircraft management unit (Sundt Air Management), an FBO (Sundt Air Executive Handling), Pegasus Helicopters, Norwegian Special Mission, and MRO firm Aviation Engineering.
