Novus Jet Charter has expanded its Part 135-certified fleet with the addition of its first Challenger 300, which is set to begin charter services in January 2025, according to president Eric Sanchez. The newly acquired aircraft, N776CJ (msn 20107), is 18.6 years old and adds to the company’s existing fleet, which includes a 22.7-year-old Learjet 60.

The Learjet 60, which was inducted in June 2024, replaced a 30-year-old Learjet 31A, marking a significant update for Novus Jet Charter’s fleet. The company plans to continue its gradual expansion by seeking additional aircraft to bring under management, although Sanchez declined to specify which types of aircraft will be added in the future.

The Challenger 300, a midsize jet originally delivered to Canada’s Skyservice Business Aviation, was most recently operated by Jet Linx Aviation. Before joining Novus Jet Charter, the aircraft flew under the ‘JTL’ code with Jet Linx, completing its last flight on July 25 from Lakeland to Boca Raton. Jet Linx Aviation continues to operate six additional Challenger 300s for charter services.

This latest fleet addition comes as part of Novus Jet Charter’s strategic growth plans to offer diverse and flexible private jet charter options for its clients. With the introduction of the Challenger 300, Novus is positioned to meet increasing demand for high-quality aviation services while maintaining a strong focus on fleet expansion and operational flexibility.
