NYC’s Times Square Edition Hotel building goes to lenders

The 42-story tower that houses the Times Square Edition Hotel in New York City has been acquired in a foreclosure auction by a Natixis-led lenders’ group, whose intentions for the site remain undisclosed. The property has been embroiled in litigation since Maefield Development defaulted on an $800 million leasehold debt in 2019.
