NYC’s Washington Heights project seeks “placemaking” status

The mixed-use project in Washington Heights viewable from the George Washington Bridge in New York is meant to be “placemaking,” according to Bryan Woo of developer Youngwoo Associates. That’s why the “Radio Hotel,” which will also have retail and office space, resembles a pile of brightly colored Legos.
