Oceania Cruises has officially taken delivery of its newest ship, Oceania Allura, marking a significant milestone in the cruise line’s growth. Built by Fincantieri in Genoa, the 1,200-guest vessel is the eighth in Oceania’s fleet and the second in the Allura Class, following sister ship Oceania Vista.

Oceania Allura will begin her maiden voyage on July 18, sailing from Trieste, Italy, to Athens, Greece. Her inaugural season includes itineraries in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and Canada and New England. The ship will be christened in November by a group of godparents made up of Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs alumni.

At the delivery ceremony, Oceania Cruises also announced plans to expand its fleet further. The line confirmed two additional Sonata Class ships scheduled for delivery in 2032 and 2035, following the debut of Oceania Sonata in 2027 and Oceania Arietta in 2029.

“Oceania Allura is our most innovative and luxurious ship to date,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “She reflects our forward-looking approach to delivering next-generation luxury experiences.”

The ship debuts new culinary offerings, including the Crêperie for French crêpes, waffles, and sundaes, and a refreshed menu at Jacques, the brand’s French fine dining venue. Guests can also enjoy new dishes in the Grand Dining Room and Red Ginger, as well as the Gerard Bertrand Wine Pairing Luncheon—featuring selections from the renowned French winemaker.

Oceania Allura is positioned to elevate luxury cruising with refined service, world-class cuisine, and immersive travel experiences.
