Oceania Cruises, renowned for its culinary excellence and immersive itineraries, has reached a major milestone with the float-out of its latest vessel, Allura, from the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Italy. The 1,200-guest ship has been moved to the fitting-out berth, where its luxurious interiors will soon take shape.

In a poignant ceremony marked by the recent loss of Fincantieri’s Chairman, General Claudio Graziano, Allura was blessed by Father Stefano, the shipyard’s chaplain, and christened by Caterina Romeo, the shipyard Madrina. Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, expressed gratitude and excitement for Allura’s progress, highlighting the ship’s new enhancements that will elevate guest experiences and solidify Oceania Cruises as a leader in ultra-premium cruising.

Allura, Oceania Cruises’ eighth vessel and second in its Allura Class following the acclaimed Vista, promises exceptional amenities including opulent suites, stylish lounges, and innovative dining venues. Scheduled to debut on July 18, 2025, with a maiden voyage from Trieste to Athens, the ship will explore Mediterranean gems before embarking on North American and Caribbean adventures.

Key features of Allura include:

A new crêperie serving made-to-order crêpes and waffles, and afternoon ice cream sundaes.
A luxurious library with floor-to-ceiling glass walls near the LYNC Digital Center and Horizons lounge.
Five specialty dining venues, including signature restaurants Ember and Aquamar Kitchen.
Spacious staterooms averaging 291 square feet.
Hundreds of immersive shore excursions on each sailing.
Onboard enrichment programs like art classes at the Artist Loft and sommelier demonstrations.
