Oceania Cruises is set to debut new voyages from Tampa, Florida, starting in early 2026. The luxury cruise line will offer a range of 7- to 20-night itineraries aboard the Insignia, featuring stops at popular Caribbean and Central American destinations.

The Insignia, accommodating 670 guests, will embark on these new cruises from Port Tampa Bay, marking the line’s first ultra-premium voyages from this port. The ship’s routes include destinations such as St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Tortola, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize City, with a notable highlight being a daytime crossing of the Panama Canal and an overnight stay in Panama City.

Onboard, guests can enjoy a range of amenities including specialty restaurants, a spa and fitness center, a sports deck, a library, a casino, and various bars and lounges. The move represents a significant expansion for Oceania Cruises, which aims to capitalize on Tampa’s growing status as a cruise hub.

Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises, expressed enthusiasm about the new base, noting that Tampa offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere similar to Miami and serves as a convenient gateway to Florida’s west coast and the Gulf of Mexico.

Paul Anderson, president and CEO of Port Tampa Bay, also welcomed the development, highlighting the potential economic benefits for the region. The arrival of the Insignia is expected to boost tourism and create opportunities for local businesses and workers.

Oceania Cruises’ new Tampa-based sailings are set to enhance the city’s reputation as a premier cruise destination while offering travelers a diverse selection of luxury experiences on the high seas.
