Opul Jets Gains UK AOC with Zenith Aviation Acquisition

Opul Jets UK Ltd has acquired Zenith Aviation, securing a UK air operator’s certificate (AOC) and expanding its operational capabilities. With this acquisition, Opul Jets now controls Zenith’s managed fleet of UK-registered aircraft and a CAA Part 145-certified maintenance facility, significantly strengthening its presence in the UK charter market.
The company emphasized that holding a UK AOC is strategically important post-Brexit, enabling fully compliant charter operations within the UK and across Europe. Until now, Opul Jets operated using other carriers’ AOCs, including SaxonAir Charter and Av8jet.
Based at London Biggin Hill, with additional operations in the Isle of Man, Dubai World Central, and Mumbai International, Opul Jets is positioning itself for broader market access. The acquisition of Zenith follows closely on the heels of Opul Jets’ purchase of Wallcourt Aviation, a UK-based business aircraft management and sales company. Though Wallcourt does not hold its own AOC, it manages a fleet of Learjet 45s and Citation Jet 1s.
Opul Jets plans to integrate the teams and fleets of both Zenith Aviation and Wallcourt Aviation into its operations. According to ch-aviation, Zenith’s current fleet includes one Learjet 45 and two Learjet 75s. Wallcourt’s aircraft are not officially registered under its name, though it lists ownership on its website.
Opul Jets’ fleet also includes a Learjet 40 under the SaxonAir Charter AOC and a Global Express managed through Av8jet’s Malta-based AOC. The Global Express, registered as 9H-NSV, is the only one in Av8jet’s fleet and is also featured on Opul Jets’ website.
