Outlook: Europe hotel dealing will inch up after crash

Hotel transaction volume in Europe plummeted 69% last year, to $10.1 billion from a record $32.3 billion in 2019, European Hotel Transactions 2020 reports. HVS, sponsor of the annual study, projects an upturn beginning in the second half of this year, but with substantial recovery waiting till 2022.
