Oyo Partners with Hotelbeds for Special U.S. Rates
Hotel distribution channel Hotelbeds is partnering with hotel chain Oyo in securing special rates and exclusive offers at Oyo’s properties across the U.S., the company announced Tuesday.
Based in Palma, Spain, the self-styled “bedbank” is a distribution channel for more than 180,000 international hotel properties. Its service gives “hoteliers access to a network of over 60,000 hard-to-access B2B travel buyers such as tour operators, retail travel agents, airline websites, and loyalty schemes in over 140 source markets worldwide,” according to the company.
Oyo currently has about 15,400 rooms in the U.S., according to STR. The company entered the U.S. market in 2019 and expanded quickly, but backtracked during the pandemic.
Oyo is planning to go public in India this year with a valuation of $9 billion.
