Pacific Ocean Debuts Citation Sovereign Service

Pacific Ocean, the San Fernando–based charter operator, has inaugurated Citation operations with the addition of a Bombardier Cessna Citation Sovereign to its fleet. The 19‑year‑old business jet, registered LV‑POA (msn 680‑0065), completed its first test flight on April 4, 2025, over Wichita Eisenhower, before making a ferry run via Fort Lauderdale and Guayaquil to arrive at its new home base in San Fernando, Argentina, on April 5.
Previously operated by Jet Linx Aviation in the United States under registrations N901S and most recently N680SJ, the Citation Sovereign joins Pacific Ocean’s mission to enhance its long‑range charter and medical evacuation services. Jet Linx continues to operate four other Citation Sovereigns under its Part 135 certificate, while LV‑POA now brings Pacific Ocean the aircraft’s renowned combination of luxurious cabin comfort for up to nine passengers and impressive performance, including a range of over 2,000 nautical miles and strong short‑field capabilities.
This fleet expansion underscores Pacific Ocean’s strategic growth in Argentina’s executive and medevac aviation market. Alongside the new Citation Sovereign, the company’s fixed‑wing fleet comprises a Learjet 31(ER) and two Learjet 60s, both based in San Fernando since early 2024, and a Gulfstream G550 offering ultra‑long‑range nonstop capability. Pacific Ocean’s helicopter assets include a fixed‑wing King Air B300 switchable for medevac roles, and two versatile utility helicopters, the Bell 407 and Bell 412, well suited for specialized aerial tasks such as aerial survey, photography, and offshore support.
Pacific Ocean’s services extend beyond private charter flights; the company provides comprehensive aircraft management, on‑site maintenance, and sales support, ensuring high levels of safety and operational readiness. The Citation Sovereign addition allows the operator to serve demanding business travelers, families, and government clients requiring swift, comfortable, and reliable regional or international air travel. Its spacious cabin, climb performance, and advanced avionics system will enable Pacific Ocean to cater to a wider range of missions, from corporate shuttle flights to urgent medical evacuations.
By integrating the Citation Sovereign into its operations, Pacific Ocean strengthens its position in the competitive Argentine and South American business aviation sector. The company expects that the jet’s combination of speed, cabin luxury, and operational flexibility will attract new clientele seeking premium air transport solutions. With regional hubs in Buenos Aires and strong connectivity across the continent, Pacific Ocean is now better equipped than ever to deliver tailored travel experiences.
As Pacific Ocean continues to modernize its fleet, plans are underway to explore further fleet enhancements designed to meet evolving market needs. The Citation Sovereign’s deployment represents a key milestone in the company’s long‑term vision to offer best‑in‑class charter, medevac, and specialized aerial services. Clients looking for seamless, on‑demand air travel can now book flights aboard the latest Citation Sovereign through Pacific Ocean’s dedicated sales and operations teams, leveraging the jet’s proven performance and the company’s extensive operational expertise.
