Pandemic aggravates Oyo’s pre-existing maladies

The once-soaring startup Oyo Hotels & Homes has taken a severe beating from the pandemic, but analysts note that a decline already was underway from other ills including its rapid expansion. Oyo’s business model has not exported well beyond its base of India and thousands of hoteliers have left the fold amid claims by many of unfair treatment.
