Park Hotels & Resorts plans new tower at Hawaiian hotel

Park Hotels & Resorts has begun the permitting process for a new 36-floor Ala Moana Boulevard Tower at its Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. The project would expand the property by half an acre and increase the number of hotel and timeshare units to 4,463 from 3,948. A draft supplemental environmental impact statement is currently under review by city officials, according to Park Hotels & Resorts.
