Pebblebrook buys R.I. hotel, sells asset in San Francisco

The AAA Four Diamond Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina in Newport, R.I., has sold to Pebblebrook Hotel Trust for $174 million. In a separate transaction, the REIT has sold The Marker Hotel, a 208-room asset in San Francisco, for $77 million.
