Pebblebrook completes sale of Philadelphia hotel

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust has completed the $80 million sale of the Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, according to a news release. The release indicated that proceeds from the deal for the 306-room hotel “will be used for general corporate purposes and reducing the company’s outstanding debt borrowings associated with recent hotel acquisitions, in accordance with the company’s investment strategy.”
