Plaza suite where JFK slept sells at loss for under $20M

A four-bedroom suite at New York City’s Plaza Hotel, once a stopover for President John F. Kennedy, has sold for a reported price of just under $20 million, a substantial loss. Billionaire European fashion tycoon Jurgen Friedrich and his wife, Anke Beck-Friedrich, bought the Astor Suite for $25.49 million in 2007.
