Polar Bear Hotel in Harbin, China, lives up to name

The Polar Bear Hotel — with a polar bear viewing from its 21 rooms — opened recently as part of the Harbin Polarland theme park in China’s Heilongjiang province. Already, the hotel is fully booked during a trial period. A Harbin Polarland spokeswoman says that the polar bears are allowed outdoors when air quality and temperature permit and that the indoor space is only part of the animals’ entire habitat.
