Police storm easyJet flight after pilot orders emergency landing

Two disruptive passengers were removed from an easyJet flight traveling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) to Turkey, following an emergency landing at Munich Airport (MUC) on April 19, 2023.

The Airbus A320 was approximately two hours into its journey when it began circling above Munich due to the unruly behavior of the two passengers.

After landing, the aircraft was surrounded by police and several officers boarded the plane to remove the passengers. According to a witness, the cabin crew tried to intervene and the captain decided to make an emergency landing at Munich to remove the passengers. The airline confirmed that such incidents are rare and that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew is always its priority.
