PONANT, the renowned luxury cruise line, has unveiled its latest addition to the fleet in collaboration with South Sea pearling company PASPALEY: the PASPALEY PEARL, a boutique expedition motor yacht accommodating 30 guests.

This elegant vessel will embark on year-round voyages throughout the Pacific, featuring destinations such as the Kimberley region, East Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. The PASPALEY PEARL boasts an intimate setting with nearly one crew member per guest, totaling 21 crew onboard, including four naturalist guides who enrich excursions with their expertise.

Scheduled to set sail in January 2025 following a comprehensive renovation, the PASPALEY PEARL promises luxurious amenities including private balconies for guests. It offers unique experiences such as pearl cultivation along the Kimberley coast, remote fishing expeditions, and cultural highlights like witnessing the buffalo races of Sumbawa Besar.

The inaugural voyage of the PASPALEY PEARL commences on January 10, 2025, departing from Dili in Timor Leste and culminating in Bali. En route, guests will explore captivating locales such as Lembata Island and the Seventeen Islands Marine Park.

In addition to the PASPALEY PEARL, PONANT has also introduced the Spirit of Ponant, a new 12-guest catamaran yacht. This vessel will offer customizable Mediterranean voyages before transitioning to winter cruises in the Seychelles. Furthermore, PONANT’s collaboration with Smithsonian Journeys continues to provide enriching expeditions, including upcoming trips to Tunisia, the Canary Islands, Mallorca, and more in the coming year.

Luxury travelers seeking unparalleled exploration and comfort can now anticipate unforgettable journeys aboard the PASPALEY PEARL and other exceptional vessels within the PONANT fleet.
