Posadas Expands All-Inclusive Resorts in Mexico and Caribbean

Posadas, Mexico’s leading hotel operator, is accelerating the expansion of its all-inclusive beach resort portfolio, with over 1,300 new rooms scheduled to open by the end of 2025. The company’s growth is fueled by strong performance at existing properties, which continue to see high occupancy rates, strong pricing, and rising demand from both domestic and international travelers.

Over the past year, Posadas’ beach resorts achieved an average occupancy rate of 76%, with rates 31% higher than competitors. In Q1 2025, the company reported a 16% year-over-year increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR), showcasing the strength of its all-inclusive model.

“Our experience in the all-inclusive sector allows us to grow with confidence,” said Mauricio Elizondo, Vice President of Development at Posadas. “We’re adding properties with unique concepts in destinations like Nuevo Vallarta, Playa del Carmen, Punta Cana, and Los Cabos.”

The newly opened Fiesta Americana Nuevo Vallarta features 229 rooms and offers family-friendly accommodations in Puerto Vallarta’s North Hotel Zone. In fall 2025, Posadas will debut Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana, a 498-room resort in Punta Cana’s exclusive Uvero Alto area, targeting families, groups, and business travelers.

Looking ahead, Live Aqua Los Cabos is set to open in spring 2027, featuring 90 luxury rooms with private amenities and oceanfront views. This adults-only resort marks Posadas’ move into high-end residential and wellness hospitality.

With 61% of its development focused on beach destinations and a 13% EBITDA increase in Q1 2025, Posadas remains positioned for continued growth across Mexico and the Caribbean.
