Posadas to open Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana in fall 2025

Posadas, Mexico’s leading hospitality group, has announced the debut of its new all-inclusive resort, Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana, set to open in fall 2025. The property marks Posadas’ latest expansion in the Dominican Republic, building on its entry into the market four years ago.

Located along the tranquil shores of Uvero Alto, the resort features 10 restaurants, six bars, a sprawling water park, extensive meeting spaces, and an adults-only spa. “With Fiesta Americana Funeeq, we’re introducing a bold, playful concept that reflects both the energy of Punta Cana and our vision for international growth,” said Mauricio Elizondo, Vice President of Development at Posadas.

The resort offers 494 mid-century modern rooms and suites, blending colorful pastels with neutral tropical tones. Room options include swim-up suites, pool-level accommodations, spacious family suites, and premium suites featuring private pools, terraces, and ocean views.

Guests can enjoy diverse dining with 10 restaurant options, as well as six bars, including a sports bar, cigar lounge, and a family-friendly juice bar. Entertainment options feature themed parties, live shows, arcade games, bowling, and a water park complete with slides, splash pool, and dedicated kids and teen clubs.

The resort’s beachside pools and spa offer hydrotherapy treatments and multiple relaxation spaces. For events, Fiesta Americana Funeeq boasts 25,000 square feet of meeting space, making it ideal for corporate events, conferences, weddings, and vow renewals.
