Pre-launch of Catawba casino resort in N.C. coming soon

A pre-launch modular facility of the Two Kings Casino Resort in Kings Mountain, N.C., is slated to open this summer and will include 500 slot machines and limited dining options, with an introductory phase of the full casino to follow once a yearlong construction project has been completed. A revenue-sharing agreement between the Catawba Indian Nation, which will operate the casino, and North Carolina was approved last week.
