In a significant expansion of its global network, Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomed 13 new member properties in the last quarter of 2023, enhancing its presence in diverse and appealing destinations across Costa Rica, Italy, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Equatorial Guinea, the Dominican Republic, Canada, and the United States. This strategic addition underscores the brand’s commitment to offering travelers unparalleled, authentic independent hotel experiences in some of the world’s most sought-after locations.

Among the notable inclusions is the Azul Hotel & Retreat in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Nestled between lush jungle and pristine beaches, this serene getaway boasts 23 luxurious accommodations, ranging from guestrooms and suites to villas. Guests can enjoy an array of amenities, including two restaurants, a bar, a gym, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a variety of outdoor activities such as surfing, snorkeling, biking, and horseback riding, ensuring a memorable stay filled with adventure and relaxation.

The Camp Creek Inn in Inlet Beach, Florida, another addition to the Preferred portfolio, offers 75 rooms and suites with exclusive access to the Watersound Beach Club, the Camp Creek Golf Course, and Shark’s Tooth Golf Course. With three restaurants, a wellness center, and facilities for tennis and pickleball, guests are treated to a blend of luxury and leisure.

In the heart of Porto, Portugal, The Editory Boulevard Aliados Porto stands as a beacon of luxury within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features 68 rooms and suites, an outdoor heated pool, the Ilícito Restaurant, and a unique circus-themed bar, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a distinctive and upscale lodging experience.

The expansion also includes the Almar Giardino di Costanza in Mazara del Vallo, Italy; the Entre Cielos Wine & Wellness Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina; the Grand Hotel Djibloho in Ciudad de la Paz, Equatorial Guinea; Tembo Barcelona in Spain; and SoHo Residences in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, the inclusion of several Catalonia Hotels & Resorts properties enhances Preferred’s offerings in Spain and the Dominican Republic, further solidifying its footprint in these key markets.
