This nostalgic journey will commence on December 6, 2025, from the Port of Los Angeles, marking six decades to the day after the cruise line’s inaugural voyage aboard the Princess Patricia in 1965.
The 14-day celebratory cruise aboard the Royal Princess will feature significant ports from the cruise line’s first trip, providing guests with a blend of historical charm and modern luxury. The itinerary includes overnight stays in iconic destinations such as Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, with additional stops in Loreto, Manzanillo, and Mazatlán, offering passengers a comprehensive experience of the Mexican Riviera’s beauty.
Adding a unique musical element to the festivities, the legendary Motown group The Temptations will perform live aboard the ship, serenading guests with classic hits including the timeless “My Girl.” This performance is particularly special as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the song’s release, adding an extra layer of celebration to the voyage. The group gave a preview performance aboard the Discovery Princess during the announcement, setting a festive tone for the upcoming journey.
