Princess Cruises is charting a course for its most extensive Americas season yet in 2025-26, offering 278 cruises to enchanting destinations in Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and beyond. Unveiling the season today, Princess Cruises is poised to depart from seven North American ports, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York City, Vancouver, and Galveston.
As bookings open on December 20, travelers and travel advisors will have a plethora of itineraries to choose from, spanning the Eastern and Western Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the South Pacific, the California coast, and more. The cruise durations vary, offering trips ranging from four to 54 days, catering to a diverse range of preferences.
In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Princess Cruises is organizing a special sailing commemorating its inaugural cruise in December 1965 aboard the Princess Patricia. The 14-day anniversary cruise is set to explore the Mexican Riviera in December 2025.
Princess Cruises also shared exciting plans for its newest ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, currently under construction. Both vessels will embark on 7-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Everglades near Fort Lauderdale during the 2025-26 season. Terry Thornton, the cruise line’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Sun Princess and Star Princess will deliver epic vacations and magnify the beauty of the Caribbean by offering guests the most celebrated views and vantage points available of the islands’ crystal blue waters and exotic charm.”
Adding to the anticipation, Sky Princess will become the line’s first Royal Class ship to make Port Canaveral near Orlando its homeport, featuring Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings in 2025-26.
Construction has officially commenced on Star Princess in Monfalcone, Italy, marking a significant milestone. John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises, highlighted the collaboration with Fincantieri Shipyard, stating, “Our multi-decade shipbuilding collaboration continues to progress as we build spectacular ships that are enabled by the most advanced technology available while infusing magnificent Italian craftsmanship and respecting beautiful Princess design heritage.”
Star Princess, set to launch in the summer of 2025, will be the sister ship to Sun Princess, debuting in early 2024, both representing a 20% increase in size compared to Princess Cruises’ current vessels. As the cruise line continues to elevate the guest experience, the 2025-26 season promises unparalleled adventures and luxurious voyages for Princess Cruises enthusiasts.
